Major insurance claim construction - Looking for Contractors

Our chimney collapsed and was removed leaving four torn up apartments. We are a small coop and we are looking to reconstruct these four apartments where the damage occurred but we are dealing with our insurance who need things done a certain way. We’ve been told some contractors know this kind of details and are actively searching for one. Anyone gone thru this? Thank you!
