looking for a mold or air quality specialist in nyc.

This past June a contractor rebuilt our wall where we had major water damage from the apt above (radiator leak). I sit and work near this wall and still smell what seems like damp plaster, if that’s possible 4 months later. It’s a really strong smell and makes me think the contractors didn’t properly dry everything out before putting new plaster on. ..

Perhaps the leak is not fixed? Someone witha moisture meter should be able to tell.

I’m not an expert, but my understanding is that real plaster, as opposed to sheetrock, doesn’t support the growth of mold.
