Leaking sprinkler main

Hi, our sprinkler main is leaking in the basement. Has anyone ever had to replace/fix one of these? If so, any recommendations for a good plumber to come look at it? (Our go to plumber said he has never done such a job.). And any idea of the cost and whether it can be done without digging up the street and replacing the entire main? Thanks a lot!

There is a limited number of Plumbers licensed to replace/repair water mains. Call anyone of them.
It probably needs replacing as the Sprinkler system needs to maintain a certain pressure. And if it has sprung a leak where you can see it, I hate to imagine what is happening under the ground where you cannot see it.
