Leak back wall of brownstone after heavy rain

Is the water pooling by the back wall? The cement or ground really needs to be pitched away from the house. I see this happening a lot and many times it’s a grade problem.

I’d start with a roofer, since the problem might well be caused by a faulty gutter,or leader.
