Lead testing and remediation recommendations?

Hi everyone,

We are moving into a new Brownstone in October. We’d like to thoroughly test the pre-1900 house (paint etc.) and backyard soil for lead before we move in, so we can take all necessary remediation before moving in. We have a 1 year old child, and I am assuming there is lead throughout.

Does anyone have any recommendations for any of the following: lead paint testing; lead remediation; and painters that have experience with this?

I’ve looked back on this forum to 2014, and saw a recommendation for Luke at Brooklyn Lead, who I contacted. Looking for others too.
