Unless you have experience with large natural stone or glass I would not suggest it as a DIY project.

Foro Marble in Brooklyn (718) 852-2322 can cut and install it for you, great guys, we have worked with them for years, they are working on a project for us now.

I believe they may stock this large format tile as well.

Nemo Tile in Queens has them.

I believe the ones I saw were somewhere in the neighborhood of 5′ x 9′. Very impressive, took a few shots last time I was there waiting for my truck to get loaded.

No issues with installation, I would just install them using the same techniques as large natural stone slabs, and these are lighter.

Biggest problem is making sure they will fit into the building, and then into your bathroom area. They can be boomed in through a window.

@dorkofwindsor, even if this can be supplied, I don’t think it should be used unless it can be confirmed that manufacturers specifies it for this type of installation. If a 96×48 tile deflects it will break.

These are usually special order but tile places should be able to get these. I would go into a place like galactic on 3rd ave and sit down and discuss with your options along with whatever you found on the web.

I doubt you will find that, because the purpose of tile is to allow smaller thinner units of a material otherwise too brittle to use for this purpose. If you need a tile like material in that size, you need to look at slabs. Contact places that make kitchen countertops.
