Try Sean at tri-state. They do everything and are great with working on your budget and offering ideas. They did my full Reno which included ripping out the back yard adding a deck and concrete with a small “landscaped” area where me and the kids can plant our own veggies! I am working on my backyard.  While removing a hill that will be replaced with a retaining wall, I ran into an issue.  There are a few large tree roots sticking out from a neighbor’s tree.  I now want to incorporate the tree roots into a nautural design, specifically I would like to create a multi-level stream with 1 or 2 ponds.  I need to have the work started as soon as possible as the roots are exposed and I want to ensure the tree is not harmed.  Also, budget is restricted since we did not plan on having to do this work.  Fortunately, I do have some material as there are a number of rocks/boulders from the demolition that can be used to construct the stream.  Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive landscaper? Thanks.

If you also have a cellar or any subterranian space, you might want to consult a contractor or other home pro about how this change could affect water in that space.  You might want to put in a drain or two (to the sewage line) and make sure whoever does the work can properly pitch it towards the drains. I know this doesn’t answer your question, but this is definitely worth looking into.
