Landmark Façade Restoration recs?

Hey Stoners! I was wondering if anyone has had a façade restoration done w/in the past 1-3 years and would recommend their contractor (or had a negative experience from any contractors to note).

In terms of insurance, is there a way to independently verify that the contractor has the necessary licenses and insurance to make this a bit more worry free?

lastly, what’s the typical warranty of façade restoration? it has been at least 40 years since my current residence has had a restoration, so just wondering what the norm would be.

The Landmarks Commission has lists of contractors that they like. On a Landmark Brownstone it is always best to use one that works on Landmark buildings on a regular basis; they may seem expensive when asking for quotes, but at the end of the job & all signed off it will be worth it.
Contractors that do not work with the Landmarks Commission on a regular basis will always end up costing more in time & money.
