Landlord attorney

Can anyone recommend an attorney for a landlord that is going to start the process of evicting tenants? The location is Brooklyn. Also what have others paid in fees and how long has the process taken from the time you started till the tenant vacated the apt?

I did speak with a friend recently who used the services of Fertig and Fertig. They helped with the notices and the tenant left before getting to court proceedings. So I don’t know how aggressive but another name to try.

The courts tend to be tenant friendly. I’m not sure I would take recommendations from there. You could if you have time to kill watch a couple of cases in that court room it is open to the public. There may be an attorney not listed on that list you like that you can see in action

Eviction lawyers are in housing court every day and as that’s all they do fees are reasonable. They represent mostly professional landlords but will represent any landlord. Suggest you visit housing court at 141 Livingston Street downtown Brooklyn and speak with the landlords, agents in court for recommendations and the attorneys present in court.

I don’t think the borough makes too much of a difference but you can ask. I hope the other person got my email if they didn’t Google search 20 worst evictors during Covid19

So there are a website for tenants called justfixit NYC that gives alot of template letters for them to send landlords. In that website as well as if you Google the phrase, the worst evictors during COVID 19. There will be a list of the 20 worst evictors who are landlords in each entry they will list an attorney they used. These lawyers regularly file and most are located in Queens. I would look them up they do alot of cases.

I’m looking for someone that is aggressive and will be able to crush these tenants and yes I understand that nyc is usually on their side
