Iron Work Prices

I’ve bid out an iron work job and gotten two wildly diverging quotes. I had the feeling the low quote was too low, but the high quote is like 10x higher.

Does anyone have a sense of what it should cost for these two jobs:

-Remove an under-stoop gate, sandblast, refinish and reinstall.

-Fabricate and install a short custom hand-rail (for a 3-step stoop).
