He is not cheap, but he is in line with the other decorative ironwork companies in NYC. If you just need a basic fix, such as welding on some missing pieces of metal, as opposed to full restoration, there are cheaper shops who focus on industrial/commercial work, as opposed to restoration of historic ironwork (or reproductions thereof).
