Ipe for sale
We are renovating our garden and have decided against building a pergola and bench that was part of the initial design. However, our contractor has already purchased the ipe and has delivered it onsite. I have the measurements of all the posts and boards if anyone is looking to get a major discount on some prime wood. I also have shop drawings for the pergola, which I’d be happy to send along.
Also taking any suggestions on any lumber yards that may be willing to purchase the wood. Thanks all. [Ipe](//muut.com/u/brownstoner/s3/:brownstoner:GhBn:ipe.jpg.jpg)

Would there be enough for a fence 6 feet tall, 18-20 feet wide? I’m guessing not.

Lumber yards will want too much of a deal. I try to never sell anything to anyone who buys anything at wholesale. If you can cut the price enough to make it attractive to people in nassau county and westchester and put this on craigslist, you might attract a wide audience. Higher price = local audience.
Keep in mind. Us who work with materials will always factor drive time and fuel into the cost of things like this as it is often better to buy very local and pay more and keep working.
