Well, if people are going to lie on the filings and defraud DOF of taxes due on a cash sale, there’s not much a private individual can do to find out the real price. Short of that, though, the documents filed with DOF that are posted to ACRIS should include a form indicating the sale price.

Sale of property is a tax event, so I would think the docs filed with the deed have to show a sales price. You can’t just avoid filing and not pay a transfer tax. Open the .pdfs for a given parcel and then page through.

Mortgage documents should be in ACRIS so if whoever bought the property got a mortgage, you can find that. I don’t know if there’s any dollar amount listed on deeds.
