How to close ten year old OPEN permits
We have an open permit for kitchen plumbing work from 2000 (prior owner). How do I close these permits if the architect/plumber is no longer in business? I have since gut renovated the kitchen/plumbing and it was self-inspected as passed. What can I do to resolve this mess? It is affecting my refinancing. thanks to everyone!
I see discussions started but I am curious how the issues were ultimately resolved. Did you end up having to hire an expediter and pay through the nose to clear up city records?

others will no more than me but i once worked in a building that had all sorts of open jobs and issues with the DOB. when it came time to do a renovation, we had to close everything and it was beyond the skill set and experience of any one of us so we hired and expeditor and he brought in the necessary people and told us what to do when we could do it.
