How fast can I get a Survey done?

I suspect that my neighbor with be replacing the brick, stoop, and cement on sidewalk. When they do the brick and stoop, they will create a new party wall so I will have to sue. This might sound crazy – but it’s my gut feeling. I need to have a survey done asap – don’t know when this work is being done. If I contact Boro Land Survey or Perfect Pointe – could they do it this week ? I have seen posts that Boro added 40 feet onto the property reflective in the survey. Thanks.

is it uncommon to owners to rebrick their stoop without permits.. Just curious since we might be planning to do it next year. I don’t recall ever seeing a permit for these type of work anywhere and I seen this work done a lot around the area.

To build a new stoop, your neighbor will need approved plans. Has your neighbor obtained them? Got a permit? If the answer is yes & yes, I doubt that it is a party wall he is planning on building. You would have had to of signed off on it as well.

Very long story. Landlord converted 2 family home into a 4 family in 1989 with an extension in the back on the house. He still thinks he in entitled to more property. If he re-bricks / new stoop while building on my side of the property would result in a lawsuit.

Roguski replied by offering to charge $650 to mark the lines. I called Boro Land and they will be here next Tues for $600 for the markings and survey.

Roguski did our survey upon purchase and omitted the property lines. No explanation. They had to redo it.

I called them asking for a survey – they asked for an e-mail – this was there reply: Kindly please advise if you want us to mark property line in the filed or you need just basic survey showing all structures on your lot. I replied asking for the property lines to be marked. Is this correct?

I do not fully understand why you are resigned to filing suit, but as for the survey, it is possible, but not standard, to get a survey in a week. I second Roguski.
