How do I bring my property up to fire code requirements?

I have a 10 unit residential brownstone. Does a plumber simply certify that the sprinkler system is properly working? Or is there more to it? (monthly certifications? certain pipes painted red?) Years ago the requirement was simply an annual sprinkler system, but I know that now there’s more to it, but I don’t know exactly what.
Any recommendations? I do have one rec- Allstate Sprinkler Corp.

Yes you need 1/4 and annual. Get your local licensed Plumber to file them. as well as making the appointments with the Fire Department for their inspections…. it is really just another revenue collecting “gotcha” when you miss a filing.
