House Insurance

Hello .
I’m about to shop for a new Homeowner insurance .
I’m currently with Liberty Mutual .
And the price has been going up a lot since i raise the dwelling by 200 K .
My annual payment will be 7500.00 $
Apparently the replacement cost for a brownstone is one millions ( standard ) without the land .
Anyone have any recommendation for an assurance company .

I’ve used state farm for 15 years for renters, homeowners & condo building policies — they have always been very competitive. currently have a homeowners policy with $600k replacement @ around $2k premium. i use a branch in LI because they’re very nice, but i’m sure you can use any location.

I used State Farm. Some office on Fulton Street east of Malcolm X. You can probably find it online. I use State farm now for two homes outside NYC and my cars. Luckily I dan’t have any claim experience with them yet.
