Hi slimc, I would like to reach you about an issue with con ed you commented on

the forum. I am going through the same problem now, where Con ed did not plug the conduit and we had a flood last night. We did have a sump pump going, but it still did a lot of damage. I’m curious if you filed a claim with them and did they reimburse you for damages. Thanks, would appreciate any feedback on similar claims made with Con edison.

we’re our coop sued Con Ed in small claims court for flooding and won.

If you search 135 Henry St or Con ed and small claims you might be able to find it.

I did not file a claim as there was no damage. There was no damage because I spent 12 hours hauling buckets of water from my basement to my bathroom so that there would not be a flood. I wish I could have gotten reimbursed for pain and suffering, lost sleep, etc but….
