you live around the corner from Leopoldi’s. go get yourself a 6′ toilet snake. easy to use. every homeowner and landlord should have one.

i will add this: now that many toilets do not have outlets shaped like perfect circles (they seem to be oval or even squarish; i want to know the logic to that),, the old reliable plunger no longer seems to work as effectively. it seems now a days the snake is the way to go.
