GC recommendation: Wellbuilt LLC/Alex Ngai

We’re still waiting on final signoff, but I wanted to give three cheers to Alex, who came in and rescued us from a deeply off-track renovation and literal financial ruin. Short background, we had a deadbeat GC (who settled with us after a DCA complaint –I won’t post here but email if you want name) who was supposed to finish a rental unit reno in August 2014 and has dragged us along since, and foolishly we were ahead of payments. Alex came in, was able to give us a very fair price to do large scope of work including carpentry, sheetrock/mud/tape/paint, tile work, extensive concrete work, masonry, door and window installs. He worked with his small crew every day, 8 to 5 sharp, was in constant contact, and just did exceptionally clean, precise work. We checked 3 references and everyone couldnt’ say enough how much they both liked him personally in addition to his work, and we agree.
