Actually its you guys that questioned my intelligence and education and political leanings from my comments, then attacked me based on your assumptions, well lets be honest you all attacked me because Im not a brain dead liberal. Which its worth noting you again do in your comment above.

So whats the rule > Only liberals are allowed to use this blog? or is it simply that non liberals must not bandy about premises the way liberals do, because we cant trigger the snowflakes by having another point of view.? or are we allowed free usage but must suffer the insults in silence? Yes I asked what other peoples experiences are regarding the incompetent city of NY insane and stupid “code”. which every ten minutes changes or is reinterpreted and is frankly really nothing but the last affirmative action inspector/examiners 85 IQ interpretation. I dont need a lot of help, I simply asked for your experience which is a tactic I use as a starting point to learn to do things myself, I ask a dozen so called experts and note the differences of opinion then research from there.I rarely find most experts know wtf they are alleged to be experts, most are frauds, out of step with the science, badly taught, morons etc at but usually theres a few who have good information but even these will usually not agree but will disagree for good reasons simply stressing different aspects as most important. From there my independent research is most fruitful and even then i often end up with a novel solution.

I have been a contractor on LI and other in states, and heavy construction foreman in NYC my entire life. I have built from ground up half a dozen houses, even more additions usually completely on my own . I design and build anything and have renovated two townhouses in NYC my fathers and my own and no I never used a damn architect. I have even built my own airplane, sailboat, and hydroelectric/hydrogen electrolyzer energy systems. So when I see the vampires on here trying to convince people nothing can be done on their own and expect to pay 300-700 sf to renovate I really seeth. But frankly I doubt theres anyone like me left on this site perhaps not even in brooklyn and you yuppies and vampire contractors and architects deserve each other.

I do see you have several largely unintelligible posts about egress, fire escapes, sprinkers, etc. For someone who claimed in another post not to need an architect or contractor (or Mexicans) to get things done you seem to need a lot of help.
