acris. but for the llc go to the secretary of states business info search and enter the name of the llc (which you will get through acris). they will tell you who the person is to receive a legal process and that person is often an officer. but not always. sometimes they list someone else to receive these things. i just ran it on my company Brownstone Home Inspection LLC and yes, my name and address come up.

Is anyone living in the building? If so, the renters may be able to put you in touch. Otherwise, you can try looking up the owner name and contact info on permits at the DOB, if there are any relatively recent permits. This doesn’t always work but is worth a try. Another option is to check the owner’s name and address on ACRIS in the deed paperwork and any mortgage documents. Worst case, you should at least be able to find their lawyer info and contact them for more info.
