Final Survey slightly off from construction drawings

Finished a two-story addition. I had a final survey done and the measurements by the surveyor vary very slightly from the plans, by an inch or a fraction of an inch. The deck is an inch bigger, the horizontal extension is an inch bigger, etc.

The possibly major issue that I see is that the existing house had a non confirming side yard (it was about 4 1/2′ inside of property line instead of 5′), so one side of my addition had to be built 6 inches off so that the new part was 5′ inside the property line. But the survey shows it only 5 inches off so we’re talking about an inch or a fraction of an inch in possible violation.

Will there be an issue with the DOB or are very minor adjustments allowed without having to amend plans or trying to get variances?

Don’t I have to submit a copy of the final survey when applying for a C of O? Even still, I guess it’s unlikely anyone will notice or care? Thank you so much for the reply.

If it is really only off by an inch or fraction of an inch don’t worry about it. We have to assume that when doing construction, workers are not perfect. And being off by an inch for an entire addition is going to happen from time to time. But the truth of the matter is the likely hood that anyone notices is very slim. So don’t stress about it. As for DOB they are not checking that level of precision when they do inspections. And the people at the certificate of occupancy office wouldn’t know to check something like that anyway.
