Fallen tree branch on sidewalk disposal

After last night rainstorm, there is a decent size tree branch that fell right in front of my house, on the sidewalk. Its about 5-6 feet long. Who is responsible to dispose this? Do I have to cut it up and make a request to DSNY or would they just come to pick it up since its from a city tree? Thanks in advance
