Facade repair

The facade of my brownstone has several cracked window columns, some evidence of crumbling on a few window caps and over the entry door. It has previously been patched and painted.

An often recommended brownstone contractor has proposed repairing cracked window columns from a swing scaffold with heli bond epoxy and pins, then priming and painting the entire facade (18k).
A second contractor insisted that window columns aren’t salvageable, behind the paint the whole thing is a disaster and only option is to redo entire facade (90k) .
A third proposes power washing the existing paint, repairing/ rebuilding columns and window caps and patch any areas of facade that require it, recommends not painting again (35k).
I am trying to get a proposal from a 4th and a visit with a 5th.

With a spread of opinion like this where do you go? I can’t afford an entire renovation , so 2 is out and to my (admittedly) untrained eye the wall and most window caps look in good shap e. Has anyone experience of epoxying and pinning work like this on a facade? Is power washing likely to open up a can or worms?
Any advice and names of contractors you trust would be appreciated.
