Electrical inspection

Can an electrical inspector issue violations for items other than re- wiring. For example, use of a 3 family as a 2. Wiring for legal kitchen but no kitchen in place (2nd, 3rd Floor) and a kitchen on both floors of lower duplex.

they certainly can issue a violation for any DOB violation that they observe. And they may ask to see areas outside of the scope of the job that they are inspecting

we had problems with the BK elec dept when trying to get a CO for a large bldg.
