Egress hatch replacement - with light?

We have two casement egress windows with wells in our basement, that lead to our front and back yards respectively. The hatches over them are old and in disrepair, and are currently entirely opaque. We’d love to install a new hatch on both that locks from the outside but is still functional as an emergency exit from the inside, and ideally with some form of glass in the hatch itself to allow light to pass to the basement windows. Has anyone done anything like this that can share photos and recommendations?
