Dirt crawl space solutions -- now that I have termite and carpenter ant problems

Hi All, Sort of at the end of my rope. I live on the first floor of my house and part of it is over a crawl space that has a dirt floor. I’ve been in this space for 4 years and this year was the first where we had both a termite swarm and today a carpenter ant swarm. It’s really gross.

Does anybody have any solutions on treating the dirt floor. (beside pouring concrete) — somebody said pest control can put a tarp down and put poisons under it. Is this something somebody has done? Any pest control people somebody can recommend?

If you do have termites you want/need to get them treated as soon as possible. That said you have to have a concrete base to protect your self and others from the highly toxic chemicals that it takes to properly treat them. No reputable exterminator would do it with out that.
