Decking for terrace/roof

Our extension also serves as a terrace for our tenants (our bedroom roof is their terrace). It is a flat roof, sloped to a drain, with a rubberized membrane. What kind of pavers can you all recommend? Pedestal systems look good, but are very pricey – any rec’s for ones that are more affordable that will still keep our waterproofing intact?

There is no way to install “off the shelf ” decking tiles safely. They come with or without “off the shelf” plastic pedestals. The brownstoner roofs were not made for cheap inferior deck surfacings that are improperly engineered for drain-off from under them. Blockage from build-up of plant-dirt, leaves,and frozen snow will eat into the rubber roofing membrane and cause deterioration.–leaks. It pays to hire a professional builder. There is no such thing as a cheap deck just like there is no such thing as a cheap car. Better safe than sorry.
