Curtain rod for bay window

I have an awkward bay window and need a custom curtain rod. My two windows on the side are not standard and too narrow for any off-the-shelf connection rods to work from Pottery Barn or Crate&Barrel. I’ve gotten a quote from a designer that priced just the curtain rod at $3k. I was expecting half that. :/

I made one myself out of electrical conduit, glued pretty pieces on the ends and spray painted the whole thing. $25 and looks great.

Is it feasible for you to place a straight rod on the ceiling straight across the bay opening? A single pair of long curtains in linen can be hung on this to frame the bay, like a stage curtain, and kept open. The individual windows can be covered with cafe curtains.l, or whatever you like,!in an airy fabric.

Try googling “bay window curtain rods Victorian decor” and it brings up rods specially shaped for bay windows from Home Depot, Walmart, and many others. (Of course, not sure if you have already done this and these are the ones too big but they may be adjustable or can be altered.)
