Cost to rebuild staircase?

Hi all – just trying to get a very general cost figure for rebuilding the main staircase in our house. It’s 19 stairs, mahogany and oak, and we’d like to reuse as much of the original as possible (at the very least, the newel posts, banister, spindles, etc. but ideally also the treads). The individual pieces of the staircase are in very good condition, but overall the staircase very creaky, slanted and – I fear – close to coming out of the wall entirely (this already happened on the top floor).

I know all jobs are different, but generally speaking, what are we in for?

Thanks!

I had to shore mine up but it was all done from underneath – leaving the steps in place throughout the work & it has lasted 30 years & counting. My guy is gone so I can’t recommend a contractor.
