Coop Question - Paid Treasurer

Hi all – do any of you pay your Treasurer and/or any other Officers of your Coop? I’ve been the Treasurer of our 4-unit Coop in Park Slope for years, and beyond paying bills and managing the books, I’m also the de facto handyman, coordinator of all service providers, etc. and the rest of the Coop wants to recognize this and now pay me a monthly fee going forward. I’m not looking to charge much, really whatever is standard (for a paid Treasurer/Officer role held by an owner), so trying to get a feel for what others pay. Any examples or insight is greatly appreciated!

If they begin paying you, for their protection and yours, look into worker’s comp. Even if it is $250 a month they give you, even if you are a 1099 type employee.
