to me Cobble Hill feels more insular than Park Slope.

They are comparable in the sense that they are both great, safe areas. But as far as which is better, that’s personal preference.

Have you not walked around both to see which suits you better? I would say you’ll answer your own question after about an hour in each neighborhood.
