Cellar Hatches

Contractor recommendations for replacing cellar hatches that leak & are rusted shut. Old ones installed by iron worker are ineffective. Thanks for your input.

I ordered mine here. I asked them to make a lock inside as most hatches have outside locks. It was a smooth experience.

Several years ago Piccolo Iron 718 499 1153 replaced cellar hatch with “water resistant” hatch. Old one always leaked in every rain, new one never leaked until recent horrendous storm. Minimal water leakage and water went down cellar drain no accumulation.
