Cellar Flooring

We currently have rough, pitted concrete floor in our cellar. The cellar is dry. We are looking to install a smooth floor. Does anyone have advice as to the pros and cons of epoxy flooring versus pouring a new thin layer of cement? Any advice as to contractors to contact would be much appreciated. We are looking for an economical solution to create a cleaner, more user friendly cellar. The celler is used only for laundry, storage, etc.

My contractor did a great job on my cellar. I initially wanted to do epoxy but then ended up doing a lot more. Call my contractor Greg 646-296-8030 and see what he says. Other options to get bids are Multi construction and CTG Construction. Good luck!
