Carpenter

I am looking for a carpenter to recreate some missing built in cabinetry to match what is currently there. Looking for someone with experience recreating historic looks. I also have trim work that i missing in places around the house.

you need a cabinet maker and they sit just below furniture makers in the hierarchy of the wood work word. beneath them are finish carpeters who install stair pieces and moldings (also known as “joiners”). A good finish carpenter might be able to do what you are looking for-

there is a guy name Pilenio Santos on here who does stairs and doors. i think he actually makes doors. you might give him a call. he was recommended on here a few days ago for stairs.

Chris Lombardi i think trained as a cabinet maker but i think of him more as a generalist now who redoes kitchens and baths and installs new cabinetry. but a call to him might work.

there is another guy some people use and i have met him and heard good things about him. if i can think of his name i will post it.
