Purchase pillow and mattress encasements a.s.a.p. I recommend this company: iallergy.com The heat treatment and/or chemical treatment will not work unless you are willing to do the other stuff too i.e. clean and bag clothing, get rid of infested furnishings, etc.

If you don’t mind going beyond local businesses, try KEB Pest Control. They are based in Westchester but do a lot of work in BK.

Hi Eileen, I called them the same day, however, they sent me a 4 page prep sheet to do before they arrived. Since it was so extensive, I let it go and last night one of my tenants reported that she has bed bugs. So I called them back looking for help with the prep – they referred me to another company. The bed bugs are in my 2 bedroom and my tenants 3 bedroom, The company came back with a quote of $4200. I think that outrageous – do you or anyone else know of other reputable prep company’s?
