Beeswax
Im polishing a few oak doors, what the process? do you oil and then apply beeswax? also what beeswax can anyone recommend?

i have only done beeswax on raw wood. you smear a shitton all over it, and buff it really hard to create heat. then let it soak in for a few hours followed by a second hard af buffing. it usually takes about 3 coats.

You might want to try Howard Restor-A-Finish. It won’t strip your wood surface — I’ve used it safely on some very precious antiques — but will clean it and add color (there are a number of choices). Then you can wax.

It all depends on what the current finish is. As well as the final finish you are looking for.
But no you never apply an oil first if you want a finished beeswax finish.
