Bathroom sinks, live and in person?

I need a smallish, but not too small, bathroom sink. I can see plenty online, but it’s hard for me to visualize the scale, even when using a tape measure to suss out the measurements. I feel like I need to see the sinks in person before I settle on one, but other than the typical big box stores I have no idea where to look. A few tile stores I’ve been in have a handful, but usually only one or two that fit the size requirement and they’re out of the price range I’m looking in (up to $300ish or so).
Any suggestions for a warehouse full of affordable smallish sized sinks (wall mount, console or pedestal )

Because sinks are so important for the appearance of the bathroom, I recommend taking a look at the online retailer, The Tub Connection, they have everything for the bathroom including a huge variety of bathroom sinks made of everything you can image; marble, copper, petrified wood, tempered glass, limestone, bamboo, and more. You will love their https://www.thetubconnection.com“>Bathroom Sinks. [Nosv-btorb_4_](//muut.com/u/brownstoner/s2/:brownstoner:7Xzx:nosvbtorb_4_.jpg.jpg)

@newpotato – it’s in a half bath and would be too small for daily needs I think. They have one size larger in that product line, which might be more functional if it will fit your space. I have it wall mounted, which takes up less “visual” space than a pedestal. You just need to make sure you use high quality plumbing parts since they will be visible.

As much as I like the concrete counter look, it doesn’t really fit in with the scheme of the bathroom…
EJR-that sink is as close to ideal as I’ve seen, and fits the look I’m trying to get as well…Do you have it on the pedestal? Do you find that the basin on it is large enough to accommodate your daily ablutions? I’m looking at a few other Duravit models, they seem to be the company with the most options in that range…

Hi all,
Thanks everyone, I’ll check out those spots and see what they have in stock.
I’m familiar with the blue tape/boxes trick, but the issue is more the actual basin size. Since it will be used in a full (but small) bathroom I want to make sure the basin is large enough to accommodate basic functions like face washing, shaving, toothbrushing, etc., without water splashing all over or it feeling too cramped. The mini sinks feel too small (workisfun, I’m too familiar with the teeny bar bathrooms on the LES! I owned a few bars there and have personally been the one buying those tiny sinks that fit into the non-ADA teeny bathrooms).

There’s room for just under a full size sink, but it’s more about how far out the sink sticks out from the wall and how the fixtures are fitted onto it. I’ve found a few online that fit the bill size wise but from the images seem like they would have a too small to be useful basin.

I’ve sussed out the IKEA sinks, and I’m not really a fan of the style, but there’s one that if I can’t find anything else will do in a pinch.
I’m looking f or mainly console, wall mount or pedestal sinks, not cabinet mounted, if that helps.
Thanks again for the info!

Park Slope Plumbing Supply showed us a listing for one small sink that fit our half bath. We went to the importer’s website [Barclay] and saw some others we liked even more. We ended up ordering the one we liked best [the Barclay “Tina”] from Amazon.

Try Galatic Tiles on Third Avenue, in Sunset Park. Or Classic Tile & Marble on 86th St., in Bensonhurst.
Btw, not sure what you mean by a small sink. Most sinks come in standard sizes to fit standard cabinets (i.e. 24”, 30”). If you are looking for something non-standard, like one of those mini sinks to fit a half bath, you likely will be hard-pressed to find a place that has a wide selection of them on hand.
If you have a hard time visualizing them, get some blue tape and the measurements of the sink and tape the wall and floor to the actual size. Or re-create the size using a piece of cardboard or a box.
