Any Experiences with Brooklyn Energy Services ConEdison
Does anybody have any experiences dealing with ConEdison Brooklyn Energy Services? I need them to come unlock my boxes so my electrician can perform some minor work in order to get final sign off. ConEd have a computerized system and they are requesting proof of final sign off before they can perform the work. Catch 22. I have tried sending emails, NO response. I have sent a certified letter, NO response. If you call their phone number they NEVER pick up. Calls go straight to voicemail and they NEVER return calls. I feel like I am trapped in a recurring nightmare. Does anybody have advice or tips on how to get through to these people. Or another way of getting the work done? Thanks in advance.

I’m pretty sure they only deal with electricians. Your electrician should be scheduling the unlocking of your meters.

When i doing a complete service upgrade my electrician simply used a grinder to cut off the locks. When he was finished with the work, a inspection request was sent to coned, they come inspect the work, if its done right; a crew comes at a later date with new meters & locks
