American Water Resources sewer line…

I had a horrible experience with American Water Resources… after paying their premium for 10+ years they just outright denied my claim without any explanation/evidence whatsoever. This relates to a broken sewer line outside my house. It cost me, and will cost you, over $30k to repair your sewer line. They count on homeowners just ‘swallowing’ the pain as hiring lawyers is a lot more expensive.

Well, well, they are messing with the wrong person. I have hired a large firm that specializes in class action lawsuits to go after them. I think their are a scam praying on unsuspecting homeowners. Accordingly if you (your neighbor, etc.) had a wrongful denial from AWR over the past 6 years (statute of limitations) you might be able to recover your costs, etc.

They have been sued before for the same wrongful denial…but they settled before the Class Action was certified- I will not as they ought to be exposed.

I have not posted here for a long time – had to re enroll used to be just ‘Concord’ with long ago gone e-mail address. I have hired quite a few contractors etc. based o n recommendations here and always recommend the site (quite informative). I saw a posting about bad experiences with AWR but not sure how to follow up so started a new thread.

If you have or had an issue with AWR let me know (might be DM feature here) and I can let the law-firm know about it so you can join in class action.

Lawsuit has not been filed yet but will in the next week or 2.

Btw, I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s office (a Brooklynite!) and the NY State Department of Financial Services.

Just realized that the above might read as a ‘solicitation’ from ambulance chasing lawyers but it is not. Administrators are welcome to contact me directly to confirm, etc.

Surely there is an ‘incentive’ to NYCDEP but also they may not recognize that it is a ‘scam’ as AWR’s business model is that rarely would anyone sue them for $30K when it will cost $100K to do so…Madoff, Wirecard, et. al. had the very same model…this is not jus ‘hyperbole’.
