Adding wired remote controller for ceiling cassette (heat pump system)
We have LG ceiling cassettes in each room in our condo and each has their own remote control. You can set a one-off timer but cannot program with a weekly schedule from the remotes. Looking at LG owners manuals online, it seems you can do this from a “wired remote controller.” I’d love to add this for one room where it would be wonderful to have the heat come on before we wake up in the morning. Is adding a wired wall-mounted controller this something that any plumber who installs heat pump systems could do, or do I really need to go back to the original installer for this? Our ceiling will be open for a soundproofing project in a few weeks, so it occurred to me this might be the perfect time to add this on as well. I always get such great guidance from the crowd here!

you can get any electrician who works on heat pumps to do this…but get someone who is familiar with LG as the programming on the remote is a pain…https://www.ecomfort.com/manuals/lg-eedf38dc0e4f6aaaaca90e99d881dbf8.pdf
