Plasterer/Sheetrocking recommendations?

Hi B’stoners, Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of companies who could repair plaster damage due to electricial upgrade?  i’m also considering just covering the plaster w/sheetrock since there was prior cracking.  any recs please let me know.  also, any idea of how much this should cost?  i’ve gotten two quotes that were polar opposites (work was done on one floor of 20×40 brownstone) thanks as always
