FIre department requirements

I have a 4-family house in Brooklyn. My understanding is that the fire department will have to conduct an inspection annually of the sprinkler system. As well, I understand that we are required to have a monthly inspection done by a sprinkler inspection company. Can someone confirm these requirements? also can anyone recommend a company that they deal with and the approximate cost of these monthly inspections? Thank you in advance.
