Removing Dirt From Garden

I’m in the process of redoing our back garden after moving in a year ago. Before I go any further I need to remove dirt as it slopes upward from the patio (near house) going back towards the back of garden. As all of the dirt needs to be carried through the house and I have no easy way to get rid of it, I am looking for any cheap options to get somebody to dig up the dirt and get it out of here. Any suggestions for anybody who will do this kind of thing inexpensively would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The issue is not being able to find inexpensive labor, but a reasonable way to remove the dirt once it has been carried through your home.  I recently did this with two day workers from Home Depot for $150 per man.  I also had a 10 yard dumpster, which was completely full by the end of this job, to dispose of the dirt.  The men transported the dirt from my back yard in buckets through my house to the dumpster.  The process was labor intensive, but my yard is now level.
