Great hard wood! Free to artisan or fireplace (Sandy Victim)

My poor pear tree succumbed to Sandy’s wind.  It was a favorite perch and snacking spot for the Brooklyn Parrots.  The wood is extremely hard, and there’s a nice straight peice that could be made into a bench.  There’s also a big pile of logs that I’m told would make great firewood because of its density.  This stuff is heavy!  No drop off–you pick up in South Slope, but I can cut the big log.   I have access to a chainsaw, a wheelbarrow, and I can help load it in.    Respond to nyperh1@gmail.com Thanks!
