Hi, i am looking to have some chair reupholstered for a reasonable price.  any suggestions?

We’ve used Kevin Taylor several times, always with great results. He worked solo when we worked with him, then he was in business for a while with Brooklyn Vintage; not sure if he still is.

Andres Vasquez, New Nassau General Reupholstery, 238 Central Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, cell 917-586-4605, business 718-383-5165.  It’s a very small shop (with his dad, I think) but he did a great job for me (sofa and arm chair) and his price (which included pick-up and delivery, new cushions, and fabric – for most, those are extras) was the best by far.  I had taken the recommendation from someone else on Brownstoner and was very happy.  Good luck!
