What does the Department of Buildings require for scaffholding and shed when working on front of a 20′ wide 4 story brick townhouse with brownstone trim? What is the DoB code number? I have seen hanging scaffholding, scaffholding supported on sidewalk with and without a shed, sheds supporting scaffholding that conform to property lines and sheds that extend beyond to the adjacent properties. Some sheds have flush walls and some have angled walls on the sides.
