Narrow planters for windows of brownstone

Hi there- looking for really narrow window boxes for front of our parlor windows and or soem suggestions. The ledge is only 6 inches deep and Im afraid to go bigger than that in case it would tip off the ledge from being imbalanced. I also, don’t necessary want to drill into the brownstone to attach brackets (thought of that option too). Has Anyone else come across this issue and or have you found narrow boxes somewhere to buy? I looked in several places and smallest Ive found in 8 inches in width.

I don’t think unsecured window boxes on a 6″ ledge would be very safe.
