Carting recommendations (clearing out backyard)

We are planning to finally clear out our backyard and even it out. We will have a good amount of dirt we want to remove, so we want to research carting options. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to start? We are in North Brooklyn. We are in a house, and there is access to walk through the basement with just a few stairs from the backyard and out the front to get to the street.

Thanks for the responses. We have called a few places including Mr T. We also see them around! Similar prices across the board. We are looking for just a disposal of the dirt, and probably can cover labor ourselves. One of the companies (won’t say who…) told us to “just put the dirt down the sewer” which was a bit disappointing….

I’ll likely be asking for sod advice and recommendations next as we clean up this disaster of a backyard. 🙂

If you just need a dumpster without labor, Filco has good rates for dirt.

If you need a company that will dig, remove, and haul it away try B&M Demolition on Atlantic
